Once again I will be part of Rally in the Ravine, a run/walk and community event in support of North York General Hospital (NYGH).
This is a cause that means a lot to me as NYGH’s healthcare professionals and support staff were instrumental in the care of my dad during his life dealt with cancer, heart disease and later advanced congestive heart failure. Fast forward, and I am now relying on some of the same team members to support me in the care of my mom — all showing up every day focused on patients, their individual needs and supporting caregivers. For this reason, I am on a mission to help raise funds so that NYGH can continue to be there for life’s most defining moments, from birth and throughout life. The hospital needs our support, funding is finite and the demand is increasing!
