As a Committee Member for the 2025 North York General Foundation Rally in the Ravine, I am excited to be walking 5K on Saturday, October 4th in support of the NYGH Here For Life Campaign. 

This is a cause that means a lot to me and many others in the community. As the North York community evolves, NYGH is embarking on their next journey with a new long-term care centre, and a brand new patient care tower. 

As someone who has had a relationship with NYGH for the past five decades as a patient, caregiver, community member, patient experience partner volunteer, team member and supporter, I know first hand the care patients and their families receive from cradle to grave. 

Absolutely no pressure to support as I know how challenging life currently is for many individuals and families. If you are a North York community member or have received care in the past, present or may in the future, please consider investing in North York General’s next chapter of continuing to provide exceptional people-centred care close to home.
