I'm excited to be part of Rally in the Ravine, a run and community event in support of North York General Hospital (NYGH).  This hospital is near and dear to my heart. I've spent more than 15 years working at NYGH - and I've also experienced its compassionate care firsthand as a patient.  

As many of you know, I spent time recovering from my accident at NYGH in 2023.  That experience was a powerful reminder of the extraordinary team we have here - compassionate, skilled and unwavering in their support.  Running in this fundraiser I will be honouring the incredible team who supported me through recovery. With every step I take, I'm reminded of their care, and I am very grateful to be here, strong and well.  

Since stepping into the role of Chief of OBGYN, I've come to appreciate just how much of what we're able to offer our patients is made possible by the generosity of our donors. I'm on a mission to help raise funds so that North York General can continue to be there for life’s most defining moments.
